LaGuardia International Airport, Terminal C

In 2022 we were approached by a fabrication company that was building all of the cabinetry, fixtures and seating for a series of restaurants at the newly renovated Terminal C at LaGuardia Airport. Because the job was so large - 4 restaurants worth of seating in a variety of styles - the company contracted multiple upholsterers to complete this job. We began only doing 40 seats in one style, however as the project progressed they kept assigning more and more of the projects to our shop. We consulted with their designers on how to fabricate the upholstered elements of the chairs successfully and in a way that would allow us to do them at scale meaning it was easier for us to upholster and therefore lower the cost of production. We completed over 250 seats in a variety of styles over a 3 month period for Chuko Ramen, Bubbies, Trattoria Sunday Supper and Essex burger.
