Swedish Chair
Our client came to us heartbroken that the antique chairs that were selected for her breakfast nook were sold before their team had finalized their design plan. The chairs were made by an unknown maker and were extremely rare - so we proposed making a reproduction for her. We drafted a plywood version to make sure the scale and design was comfortable, and after the design was approved we turned over production to a local portland furniture maker, Kevin Parnow, who executed these chairs to perfection! Our client sourced the wool hides from a family friend on the Swedish island of Gotland. The sheep from this region make a very specific quality of wool that is truly unique - just like these beautiful chairs!
