Our Fabrics

Proper fabric choice can make or break a project. Our team is ready to help you find the perfect fabric for your project.

Although House of Vonne does accept COM (customers own materials) we do require that all fabrics are pre-approved by our custom shop before a project is begun. We highly encourage our customers to consider our fabric vendors as we trust these distributors to sell fabrics that are high quality and trust the performance of their fabrics.

We do require customers that are wanting outdoor projects to use an appropriately rated outdoor fabric. If selecting a product that is not branded as Sunbrella, Outdura, or Revolution we require prior approval before a project is begun.

We highly encourage our customers to pursue a performance rated fabric is the piece will be heavily used and not decorative. We highly encourage our customers to select a fabric with a wear rating of at least 30,000 rubs for any project that is not solely decorative.

Our Fabrics

Choosing a fabric can be a bit like finding a needle in a haystack, but with our help and knowledge of design and textiles, it doesn’t have to be. We have combed the fabric landscape and chosen our most trusted fabric distributors and manufacturers to be available to our clients. Here is a list of some of the brands available for purchase at House of Vonne. Please contact us if you do not see a company you are looking for or come by the shop to look through our shelves of samples.

Revolution Fabrics

Revolution Fabrics are available directly from their factory in North Carolina (100% made in America). Because there is no middleman, their fabrics are very competitively priced without sacrificing quality. They specialize in solution-dyed Olefin performance fabrics which have incredible stain resistant and antimicrobial properties.

Revolution is also our most “green” fabric. Natural fibers like cotton, linen, and wool require lots of the earth’s most precious resources… water and land, which are used in large amounts in the production and dyeing of natural fibers. Olefin is dyed without the use of water and requires almost no land and water for its production. Olefin is a byproduct of refining petroleum. For many years, it was discarded or simply burned off. The Nobel Prize for Chemistry was won by the scientists who discovered a use for this unique polymer. Because it is produced from what was formerly waste, Olefin has by far the  smallest carbon footprint of any upholstery fiber.

Revolution has great textured fabrics but their selection does have a limited color palette.
